What is Breathwork?
This series is designed to help you develop a more intimate relationship with your breath. The breath directly affects the nervous system. By becoming aware of how we breathe and using techniques to modify our breath, we can develop a better sense of how our nervous system is working for or against our current lifestyle. In this series, we will cultivate awareness of breath by tracking nasal cycles, controlling breath lengths and ratios, and measuring breath capacity.
Who is this work best for?
The benefits of breathing consciously are vast and can cover a wide range from improving sinus issues and easing digestion, to getting better sleep and helping with pain.
What is included in this series?
We will meet once a week for 4 weeks via facetime or skype for 30 minutes. In this time we will go over previous techniques, answer any questions about the prior week, and introduce new techniques for the upcoming week. There will be daily homework that would request at least three sessions a day totaling 15 minutes.
